Botox® Cosmetics is a revolutionary facial treatment to reversing the effects of facial wrinkles. Crow’s feet, worry lines and laugh lines can all be a thing of the past. The Botox® Procedure

Botox® injections work by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the muscles in the injected area.  It relaxes those muscles so when you smile, frown or laugh, the lines and furrows are softened or gone.

How Long Does It Take?

Within a few days you'll see a softening of the "frown lines" between your eyes.  Within a week, you'll see the full effects of the Botox® Cosmetics treatment, which will last up to 4 months.  Then, even after the primary effects of the treatment begin to subside, you'll continue to enjoy a more refreshed look caused by the relaxation of the muscles.

Is There Discomfort?

The injections are very small and are directed to the muscles in the involved areas.  We often use a local anesthetic cream or a cold pack to reduce any potential discomfort.
